Dar proposed..!! and is realli a very big big surprise.. i was really shocked.. actually i did sense that he might do it maybe end of year after Korea trip or during our anniversary next yr.. but little did i expect.. he will do it now... but still i am happy!

Last friday.. dar waited for me at vivo city.. i was having dinner with my friends mingli and huey min.. and dar insist that he don't want join.. and he really insist.. saying that he need to shop for some new clothes.. after that at 10pm, he finally called me asking me my whereabouts.. and he came to look for me.. Actually he had already bought a ring, but the ring is not ready, so he will collect it next thurs at jurong Point Soo Kee.

8th oct 2009.. I was working OT. Dar, as usual, was waiting for me at JP... after i reached.. we proceed to my house for dinner with my mom.. after dinner, me and dar were playing with Harmony and Duckie.. (FYI, Harmony and Duckie are 2 soft toys)... after that Dar was asking me about flats as Xia and Wyn are applying for the half yearly balloting. After playing, we decided to sing.. haa.. and after that, i decided to go pack my stuffs.. and i left dar to play with duckie and harmony... I think i am quite blur, Dar hates Harmony. i should have realised that, but i thought to myself.. "not bad, he started to like Harmony and playing with her somemore".. soo i did not suspect anything..........

After i packed finish my stuffs, dar ask me to the computer.. he on the slideshow that we did with all our pictures, with the background music as "From This Moment On".. Dar keep asking me to play with Duckie, and i still suan him say he very childish.. haha. suddenly, i touched something.. A RING!!! i found it in Duckie..!! and dar kneel down, with the music "From This Moment On".... I was really shocked.. i just stared at him and i was super quiet.. but still, i said Yes....

Although the proposal was not a very loud, spectacular event.. Just the two of us. But i still feel sweet.. Dar told me the reason why his proposal is such a sudden and impromptu one is cause, he wanted to propose before we decide to apply for any flats.. he did not want to be like a normal singaporean, to have a flat, propose and hold wedding..

Frankly speaking, i was abit disappointed.. as i always expected something romantic, sweet, and i wanna feel like a princess.. and i alws thought my proposal will be in public with dar singing, with my closest frens around me.. but but. the surpise that dar gave me was really a v sweet and romantic suprise..!! Thanks Dar.. Thanks for everything that you have done... i really appreciate.. sorry for making you sad and unhappy in the past...

Last friday night was one of the few nights that i did not spend with pinkies. Instead, met up with the girls to celebrate our dearest 88s(Chee wei) 28th birthday. and as usual, we were laughing all way.. afterwhich, i went back with huijun and dar picked me up at boon lay. Was super tired, and i still had to pack my stuffs until 2am. And i woke up at 445am on sat!! meaning i slept only for 2.5 hours. I was super shagged. and poor dar, he had to wake up at 5am to send me to Jade's house at Tampines.. He was our chauffeur for the day.!! at 530am, we proceeded to teck whye to pick Xiaowei up.. afterwhich, we proceed to Jade's house. oh ya.. is Jade's wedding!!!

we reached her house at 630am and started with our make-up and hairdo..

By 830am, all of us were getting anxious..!! the groom was supposed to reach at 830am as they had to follow some auspicious timing.. but but.. the groom was late!!! and he reached at 920am!! haiz.. but lucki everything went smoothly... after that, we proceed to the groom's house, den to My Humble house at Esplanade for the solemisation and back to the hotel...

at the hotel, me and xiaowei and adrienne had to rushed to touch up on our hairdo, make up.. and rushed down to the function room as we were the reception for the night.

Although i was very tired.. but but, i feel happy!! the wedding was really smooth. and was a very very sweet and heartwarming event.. the couple was together for like 6 or 7 years?? (forgot the exact years).. and despite their ups and downs, they are married..!! i really feel touched and happy when they walked in to the ballroom together... My dearest Jade is finally married..!! and i can tell she really look very happy!!

After the wedding dinner, i was really totally shagged out. and poor dar.. he said that i actually scolded him cause he wanna try to shift me cause i was sleeping on the sofa. Dar, so sorry!! i think i was too tired.. I dun even know i scolded him.. haha.. sorry sorry.. =)

sunday was a relaxed day.. we relaxed at home, movies and afternoon nap.. after that, we rushed off to Jurong west safra to attend the 21st bdae celebration for my pretty neighbour..!! she is 21!! haiz.. i feel so old when i attended the birthday party!!! i am turning 27 next year..!! keep asking myself, what had i done over the last 6 yrs since i was 21.. hmmmm.... so sad...

Anyway.. 3rd Oct 2009... Huixia and Wee Keong Solemnization Party at Orchidville at Mandai.. The whole dinner was sweet and simple.. except for e long winded JP.. ha.. But he was quite cute... Wee Keong and Xia was sweet.. and pinkies as usual, we took alot of photos, with the bride and without the bride.. heez.. and the orchids as a door gift was nice too as we can use the orchids for photos taking!!

After the dinner, as the bride requested for a happening night, we decided to head for St James Boiler Room.. It was really a crazy night.. is been quite a long time since i had such a crazy night with pinkies. We finished a tower of beer before the couple arrived.. and had 2 bottles of Hennesy after that.. and the couple was totally down by 3am i think.. and the killer was the last lamborgini..!! Wee keong immediately puked after he finished the Lamborgini.. hahah.. and according to Dar, wee Keong smelled of vomit when he left Boiler yesterday night!! Although we were all tired, but i think all of us had fun..!! even Wanting and Daixing danced!! so it means we really had fun.. I think after yesterday's session.. i need like a long long while before i will club..

and sunday was a "nua" day for me and Dar.. we stayed home watch hk drama.. and sleep.. eat.. hahah... shall upload some photoss of fri's meet up with Mingli and Betty Jie. and of coz photos from yesterday's dinner session and clubbing session.. =)

I know i should not be blogging......... I should be WORKING... but i am bored....
i have stuffs to finish up... but but.....
doing testing for Census 2010...the next big thing in DOS (department of statistics... ) . haa.. but i think the team is efficient.. They have found most of the errors.. Hence, now.. we do not have much errors.. This is a good thing.. but yet a boring thing.. haha.. meaning.. no more major errors.. but means is not as challenging anymore.. haaa....

anyway.. today is WEDNESDAY!!! is a short day..... so will be meeting up with Dar.. probably for a short dinner.. afterwhich.. home sweeet home to accompany my parents.. mom is lazy today, she refused to cook because she is just back from Genting and she feels tired.. But i haven eat her homecooked food for 1 week!!!
If i am not tired later, maybe can whip up some simple dishes for myself and Dar.. haa.. Provided, I am not tired... (normally i am always tired after work)....

Over the past 2 weekends, i attended 2 wedding dinners.. I am broke..!! But but, these are happy events!!

21st Sept was the wedding dinner( @ ReGent Hotel) of Jacqie, my ex colleague from UBS... I still remembered she was sitting in front of me in UBS office in suntec when i first joined UBS in 2007 June.. Nice and cute girl.. we spent alot of time laughing in office, going for teabreaks in the pantry, lunching together, dinner sessions after work, taking train home together.... and now.. finally.. she is married, after so many years of dating.. Jac was very pretty on her wedding night, with her hot red gown... and she slimmed down alot..!! girls are really the prettiest on their wedding day... I really hope that jacqie will be happy with her lovely Chin Yong.. and i must mention that.. their march-in is so sweet.. The couple sung while marching in.. i feel soo touched when they marched in... As for photos, i am waiting for my friend to upload into facebook..

On 26th Sept... It is the wedding dinner of Zhengyi and WenYao(@ 1-Twenty Six).. This couple started dating since they were 14! I am really impressed and really happy for them... On their wedding night, i reminded wenyao.. i listened to Zhengyi's stories about for 2 years when i was seated with Zhengyi.. haha.. But i really can feel Zhengyi and Wenyao's happiness when i attended the wedding.. and cute Zhengyi, as usual.. she was super nervous.. I could feel the trumble in her voice when she read out her vows.. But i was not unable to see her expression, hence i do not know if she is trembling or she is crying.. and the evening was good as i managed to meet up with alot of my ex classmates, st john members, swiss people... although there are alot whom i do not talk in swiss, but we still managed to chat abit at the dinner.. atmosphere was good... and met up with people like eileen chuah, belinda, sihui.. everyone had changed, but the feeling was nice... and although zhengyi was busy entertaining her friends, colleagues, relatives.. But i still managed to catch up with her.. i can tell... she was happy.. and one thing for sure.. WenYao will be very nice to her......

And the next wedding i be attending will be one of our pinkies..!!! Huixia!! 3rd October, Mooncake Festival.. This will be a memorial day...
Sall update more after i attended their sweet sweet ROM Dinner... but that auntie xia keep complaining that her gown is ugly.. However i believe all girls will be pretty on their wedding/rom because of the happiness on their face...!! =)

Over the long weekend... on sat noon.. me and dar were bored... soo we decided.. to go shopping at Queenstown for our winter wear.. haa.. and we bought our down jacket at the winter wear sales... i bought for myself a pink down jacket with some blink blink at the collar.. and dar bought a beige one.. soo excited... and decided to continue to IMM for dinner after our shopping. But dar refuse to try on his winter jacket for me to take photo when we were at home.. he was too lazy and tired as we shopped for one whole day.. hmm..

It has been a very very long time since i blogged!! Since January.. believe the pinkies dun even bother to come into my blog to read.. haahha... anyway.. from Jan to Sept.. 8 mths... alot of changes.. the biggest change would be.. i changed job!! from RBS to Singstat.. i would say.. is really a big change, from banking to civil servant. There are pros and cons in the govt sector.. some of the nice things about Singstat are:

1) I can leave on the dot at 6pm!! work life balance.. meaning.. when i am married, i would have more time for my family, my kids... govt sector is very supportive of family life
2) lesser politics? or maybe i have not experienced it..
3) simple people
4) less entertainment... meaning i can save more $$$$.. but this means that my social life is cutting down tooo..... i miss rbs ppl..!! sobzzz..

Apart from change of job... other stuffss remained.. heez.. Dar is still as sweet and nice to me.. Pinkies are still meeting up every friday.. and we are having more and more activities..!! which is good.. and our activities are getting healthier... less of clubbing, drinking.. which is good.. last year was a bad year.. i realised i drink too much..!! due to e excessive drinking session, i looked old and fat!! soo now... i need to lose weight!! i know, pinkies will sure comment that i have said this phrase since sec 2... but this time round.. i really need lose abit of weight.. was looking at my christmas 09 photos.. i really become rounder.. hmmm.. if i dun work hard, me and dar will become two ah fat soon... =)

and I am just back from Bangkok!! Bangkok was fun!! hhaa... bangkok with mao, tien and ah jiao.. crazy shopping, food, massage... happie happie..
and i am gg Korea in Dec!! sooo excited.. this is my first winter trip..!! Will be busy thinking of what i am gg to wear in Korea.. haaha..

went shopping with Dar last sat.. and we tried the winter clothings.. haha. i am soo tempted to get the pink down jacket!! soo sweet.. was thinking.. if will look nice with a white or black turtleneck with jeans and white scarf... with boots.... but but... ended up we did not buy.. alice and yanling wanted to lend me their down jacket.. soo probably will just lend from them.. heez..
and this time round.. this will be the first time i am gg to such a far country with pinkies... will be going with xia, keong ge, wyn and zhengyu.. sooo this shall be something i can loook forward to after the bangkok trip... =)

2) to save money!! I realise i spend a lot in year 2008. I really need to save up for rainy days.. Especially with the market now.. retrenchments, downsizing etc.. scary...

3) to spend more time with my family..!!

6) no more late nights... To sleep early everyday... In order to retain my youth..

i am tired.. but i cant sleeep.. cause i haven talk to dar todaee.. i wan complain to him about my hair.. if not i cant sleep.. haiz... I have a very terrible hair... i coloured my hair on sat.. my hair is RED now... it looks ok on sat after the hairstylist blow and style for me.. but now.. is a disaster.. my hair is very ugly.. with all the split ends.. and super short fringe.. all thanks to the chemicals that i injected into my hair for the past 8 years... I have decided to take very good care of my hair this time round.. i need to regain my healthy long hair long.. i need to stop al the colouring and rebonding...

Anyway.. last week was a simple week..

Last Tues had dinner with Dar at Cafe Cartel after buying his leather shoess.. Wed attended dar's buddy's wedding at Park Royal Hotel.. It was a sweet and simple wedding dinner.. i feel like getting married..!!

Fri, as usual.. was a meet up for pinkies.. Had Korean food.. after which was chill out at Shodoku.. for desserts and drinkss.....

Sat was the bad day!!!! i coloured and rebonded my hair.. and my whole hair was ruined.. Now is the time to "nurse" my spoilt hair.. after whcih... dar picked mi up from chinatown.. just a simple simple sat with dar for dinner.. cause he is having his exams..
His last paper will be on the 26 nov.. and we be able to play real hard.. a series of programmes awaiting.. Mt Faber, MacRitchie, JB shoppin, Batam massage, Kelong for seafood etc.. hmm.. hopefully ur dearie huijun be able to organise the Kelong and Batam trip..

But, the funny thing is.. is for next yr sept!! haha.. this will be the first trip with moreen, yoniko and tien... i know it will be a very very fun trip!! loooking forward to the bangkok trip!

Sat was a simple day.. Lunch with dar.. and slacking around.. Untill 5 plus.. i went to meet moreen at IMM.. we had Fish & Co... afterwhich... cakes at cafe Cartel with Wyn and Zhengyu.. Thurs was my boss's Angelia's last day with RBS.. Kinda sad that she left as she had been a nice boss.. but still, is good for her... finalli she fulfilled her dreams of being a housewife..!! haa.. simple woman... although i might be a simple woman as well.. but i cant imagine being a housewife.. financially dependent on my hubby... i won't do that... Personally, i feel that, women should still be independent.. we never know what will happen in future.. so, is better to be financially and emotionally independent.. i know i am not able to do that emotionally.. but still, i will try..

Yesterday was a night out with YiTing, Moreen, Qiaohui, Huijun, Yiyong, and Zhenxin.. watched " What happens in Vegas".. Nice show.. sweet and funny.... Mao was laughing non stop and super loudly in the theatre.. so, you should know how funny the show was..
After movies was Crystal Jade HK cafe.. the food is niceee.... and i bumped into Alice and WeiJian.. as usual, alice insist on sending me home.. cute girl.. but tis time.. i insist i will juz join my frens..
Whenever i see alice and weijian, feel so envy.. they are ever so sweet.. and weijian is forever so nice to alice... Hopefully will receive their wedding invitation next year!!!

After the desert at HK Cafe, we headed to Yiting's house for her car!!! and she drove us to Kranji area.. there is this nice place, where we can see Malaysia from the reservoir.. nice and peaceful place.. and we decided to sit down for a heart to heart talk.. as usual, relationships stuffs... and is the same ppl as redang who had a heart to heart talk.. just that this time round we included Mao and YiTing and our mr yizhang mia as he is sick again.. ~~

Sat was a day out at Johore Bahru with the Dare doers.. eat, shop, sing, chat etc.. relaxing and fun day.. although was tiring.. but, i bought a pair of heels, a 3/4 pants, coloured contact lens.. satisfied... =)

after which was st James with Yoniko, Mao and Yanling and her frenzz.. it was a super last min decision.. decided to go coz my dearie cousin Ling was upset with her hubby.. lotssa drinking, beer, chicken wings and chat with Ling.. i can feel her love for her hubby and how hurt she was tis time round.. i realli hope things will be fine soon and she will be happy...

I am back from redang... i am tanned, though not as tanned as when i juz came back from Phuket, but.. i am still tanned..

aniwae.. i dun regret going for the trip.. stil remembered that 3 days before the trip, i was stil considering whether to go for the trip as my mood is quite bad.. but.. luckily.. i went.. as this is a relaxing trip.. although there are times when i feel sad and wanted to be alone during the trip.. but e whole environment stil made me feel relaxed.. espeicially swinging on the hammock, doing some thinkings.. lying on the beach, suntanning, swinging on the hammock, snorkelling trips to Turtle Bay, Marine Park, canoeing, trekking, ktv, singing, guitar, beers, drinking.... we managed to squeeze everything just into a 4 days 3 nights trip...

Snorkelling was fun.. it realli made me feel like going for diving.. after a few snorkelling trips at Tioman, Phuket, Pattaya, Redang etc.. i think maybe is time i should go for diving... But i am stil pondering if i should join for the july Open waters.. i lack the confidence...
Trekking was even more fun~~ although the cuts and bruises on the limbs, but is worth it... and probably i manage to lose some weight.. =)

today is my cousin kiat's big dae.. attended his solemnization at StarDust clubhouse.. feel so nice to see my close ones getting married.. frankly, i feel happy for kiat. He had an unhappy relationship before that. and now, he finally found someone who appreciate him.. i feel happy for him.. i believe that life is fair.. and he proved that..

It has been a week since i last blogged...

over the past 1 week.. was quite busy with work, meet ups wif some frens, going for classes at amore etc..

aniwae.. met up wif alice and mingli randomly on mondaey.. we had Ding Tai Fung... so sorri.. we went without 883.. but agreed to meet up with him soon.. is been a long time since i meet 883.. and all the craps and serious stuffs abt our career..
aniwae meet up wif the gers was fun.. we talked and discussed abt alot of stuffs.. bgr, work related, frens etc.. so nice to meet up with them again..

Wed was Pilates with ah Mao.. is realli tedious.. esp one day after the classes.. i can feel e pain at my adomen.. but is good.. i can feel that i am exercising... shaall for pilates, Steps and New Body soon..... eating too much over the past few weeeks.. is soon to stop all the snacks and start to exervise again...

Thurs was exciting..!!~ Had dinner with the brokers from Tullet Ldn.. is quite entertaining..!! dey cant use the chopsticks and were trying their best to eat with chopsticks..
and one of the brokers actualli told my new colleague, S, that he will send his son's photos here..
nex time he will intro.. damn funnie.. S is realli cute.. days in the office pass very fast as we are too busy..
But one bad news came, clarise, my supervisor will be moved to Cash Management team
meaning down to 2 person doing IRD.. is quite sad to hear this story as she had alws been the pillar of support for IRD team..
i realli hope recesiion will not affect us much..

and lastly.. fri nite was celebration at Marina Sq MOF.. the hot stone rice is real nice.. we can order another one if we need it...
after which was paulaner at Millenium.. was fun as wel.. as we are forever entertainin ourselvess... Hence the night turned out well.. :p

My first stretch fit classs at Amore today.!! attended the class with Mingli.. was quite fun with all the stretching.. was q tedious initially as i cant balance well.. but manage to cope after 20 mins.. hopefulli i will sincerely attend all the classes for the year.. and will be starting on my class with ah mao next week and when tien is back from HK, we will all be able to attend classes together.. will be fun.. and hopefulli i will stay fit and slim..!!~~ =)

we were talkin abt what happened to uss over the past few mths over dinner.. coz it had been like 2 mths plus since i meet up with her and alice and papasan (chee wei)...
and was teling her i might want to try sell cars.. she also wanted!!~~ think coz we were all in the motor insurance line.. currently she is doing motor insurance. and previously i was doing motor insurance claims..

frankly, out of so many jobs that i held before, motor insurance claims is the one that i enjoyed most. interesting, fun.. although can be stressful when i meet problematic car owners or workshops.. but exciting with the fraud cases, taxi drivers teling lies etc..
reason why i wanna go into car sales, is coz.. i wanna earn more money!! and maybe i can fulfil our dream of starting a car workshop.. me, ah huey and ali's dream of a workshop.. we even thought of the name, our roles, and some marketing ideas...!!~~
but den, all these needs alot of capital...
aniwae, probably will start on my planning for my part time car sales soon.. after my birthday i suppose.. exciting....!!~~

emotional time.. woke up from a nap.. with tears in my eyes.. i dream of wad happened in the past few months.. everythin came back again... i hate being alone.. coz it makes me think of a lot of stuffs.. but yet, i wanna be alone.. coz it gives me the time to reflect on a lot of stuffs..

i always thought i am a lucky girl.. wonderful family, wonderful friends, wonderful bf.. despite my complaints, i thought i am happy.. but after what happened, i know there is an end to everything.. what was there might not be here anymore.. things change, people change.. and the change can be drastic.. and a lot of things, you just cant force... what is yours will be yours, no point forcing..
you might feel that you are good, or better than someone else.. and friends around you feel the same.. but what is important is that the person feeels that u r better as well..

as usual.. monday bluezz.. but luckily i slept at 10pm on sunday... coz i was too too tired.. played mahjong at Ah Jun house till 430am on sat night... but was fun.. coz i started to learn how to play mahj.. but i lost $8.50.... after tonight, i tink i wanna play mahjong in noon timee.. night timee too tiring.. and looks so haggard...
but sunday, i had a v bad stomach cramp.. juz lie on bed... tink too much cooling stuffs for me recently..!! ~ haizz

just back home.. was out sincee 9am with my family.. went to pray my grandparents.. coz qing ming festival is heree soon.. was so tired... coz we travelled to 3 placess... but then i feel satisfied.. this is a yearly event... after that went to shop around with my family at Lot One.. and had Ajisen.. this is e first timee my dad ate Ajisen.. i feeel so happiee. treated the family.. tink my credit card bills is going up again.. =(

going out for mahj again at ah jun hsee.. at 10pm.. *yawnzz* but will enjoy bahz.. hehez.. i am bad at mahj.. need practicee

ydaeee nite was a drinkin session at Loof... bdaee celebration for Wyn!! was another fun nite despitee being so tired after 1 week of work..

another day at work.. was looking forward.. coz will be fri tomorrow!! finalli... supposed to meet kang siong for dinner.. bt last min we had a change of planss....
and when i was going home, one of my new colleague come asking if wanna go CK Tangs salee.. since i had some stuffs to buy.. decided to join her for the shopping...

in end i spend 100 plus.. haiz.. sadz.z. there goess my plan of getting down on my spending tis month.. nex mth i shall not overspend..
bought a blusher and foundation from M.A.C..
this the first time in my life that i bought a blusher.. i know is surprising as girlss are supposed to love blusher.. but... i don't.. i juz don't really like blusher.. but under the influence of rachel.. i decide i shall buy onee.. and get used to putting on blusher.. think recently i seem to buy a lot of stuffs from mac.. bought their make up base and eyeliner as well.. :p
my colleague adrienne bought a foundation and a make up base from shu and chanel..
happily, we headed home!!!
is so easy to earn money from girlss....... =(

another tiring day.... did payments todaee.... and completed 68 paymentss.... started thinking, if this is realli somethin that i wanted to do after 1 or 2 years.. facing the pc, keying in payments, doin reconciliations, uploading journals etcc... and is not possible to work forever in this way.. still pondering if i should do part time sales...

anyway, my new colleague is so cutee.. she is a 19 year old fresh graduate.. asking v cute questions.. and i reali feel so sad when i see her working late.. like today, she was doin payments and had to stay back late.. all of us kind of feel sad.. esp during lunch time when she told me that she had called her mom to say she wil be late.. i was thinkin.. when was the last time i called back home to inform that i be late?

another sad thing.. was teaching the new girl how to reply emails from brokers.. and suddenly she asked me " stacey, are you bonded? " i was like.. "noo.. " she look so sad.. she said she will be bonded for 1 year.. haiz.. but she consoled herself by saying that 1 yr fliesss...
and e next moment, she asked me "stacey.. wad time do u think i can go off on thurs?? " reason being she wanted to make plans to meet friends... i can really sense that she finds this job boring.. but what to do.. is difficult to find the perfect job.. what is comforting is that the environment is cozy and nice...

realised i have neglected my family these days as i have been going out with friends often.. and workin hrs longer..
is been since some timee i meet up with my cousinss....
tink is time to make some planss....
